A Little About Chen
I am a shorthaired Border collie.  I was an abused girl until Mommy got me at the humane society, it wasn't my fault that I would jump out the living room window, besides, by the second time, Mommy had set up a charge account with the glass company. Then when she put me in the crate, I couldn't take it and started to have problems like I was suffering from anxieties. That got straightened out after we saw the dog psychologist. By then I realized Mommy wasn't going to get rid of me and I warmed up to her and found was a great joy it was to sleep on the bed, especially under the blanket. She would take me for nice long walks before she went to work and when she came home from work and even came home at lunchtime to let me out. I really did like her company a lot, so I decided to please her and do well in the Montgomery County Obedience Trials and make her really proud of all of the hard work she did in getting me to be a socially accepted pet.

I was an only child until my sister Sno came along. She was a holy terror.
All she wanted to do was nurse me, I kept telling her that I wasn't her mother and learn to eat dog food. Mommy would hold Sno when we went on our walks. She never held me. I guess that was because I was not a little baby when I went to live with her. As Sno would get older all she wanted to do was play and play. I had to tell her I was a mature woman. But every so often I will play with her and find myself running up and down the stairs, jumping on the bed and making all sorts of noises. Of course, Sno realizes that I am the boss whenever we play.

Once Mommy retired it was so great to have her home so much of the time and
she always takes the two of us whenever she can. She so seldom leaves us at home, which is very nice. I love to ride in the car.

I know Mommy is proud of me and how much I have calmed down and become such a good girl.
